Local, Honest and Family Focused - Julie Frith shares her story

Julie is the co-owner of David Frith Quality Plumbing in Kirrawee. Born in New Zealand, she moved to the Gold Coast with her parents at the age of nine where she grew up enjoying the sunshine, sand and all the great things the Gold Coast has to offer.

I met with Julie at her home office, and we sat in the kitchen / dining room to have a chat. Julie and David’s house is filled with family photos and memories of their life together.

At the age of 20, Julie came to Sydney for a holiday and met David. They had such a connection, she moved in with him just 3 months later, and they’re still happily married to this day! They moved to Kirrawee in 1993, and have lived there ever since, building their business into the trusted local plumbing business it is today.

When Julie moved to The Shire all those years ago, she only knew David – she had no other friends or family in the area. She joined a few netball teams, and soon met local people who have become her dear friends.

Julie and David now have 3 children who all have all been gifted with unique and interesting talents! One of their son’s has been awarded a Golf Scholarship at a University in the USA which he will be starting next year. Their daughter has a flair for event management and business and is studying at the University of Wollongong, and their youngest son while still in high-school is a gifted fisherman.

Julie and David’s focus for their business is to provide their customers with a true family service which reflects their personal life. Many of their customers have been customers for many years and have even become great personal friends. Their outstanding customer service and their ability to recognise that going above and beyond for their customers, has made them stand out from the crowd.
